Homeownership may seem out of reach for a lot of Americans but it doesn’t need to be that way. Our movement is helping to increase the homeownership rate to 75% for all Americans.
We are unlocking the door to homeownership for all, through increasing the number of mortgage loan officers in each community and helping connect them with the underserved in every neighborhood.
HOW IT
WORKS
STEP 1
INITIAL CONVERSATION
The first step to join the movement and become a Loan Officer is to connect with a current Loan Officer to establish expectations and discuss answers to your questions.
STEP 2
LEARN ABOUT LEGAL PLAN SERVICE
Familiarize yourself with our legal plan service to learn how you can help prospective homebuyers resolve debt issues, address credit report mistakes and and earn more in the process.
STEP 3
APPLICATION
Sign up to qualify to refer to the legal plan and apply to become a Mortgage Loan Officer with our partnering financial institution.
STEP 4
APPROVED WITH CONDITIONS
Good news – your sign up to refer to the legal plan was successful and your application to become a Mortgage Loan Officer is under review, pending background check and approval by NMLS.
STEP 5
FINAL APPROVAL
AND HIRE
Our goal is to approve as many Mortgage Loan Officer candidates within 2 weeks of applying. While most background checks are successful and NMLS applications are approved, if more information is needed we will contact you.
